According to reports, a North Carolina man who won a $10 million lottery prize in 2017 was arrested and charged with murder. The arrest came in connection to the body of a woman who was found dead at a hotel.
Shallotte Police charged 52-year-old Michael Todd Hill with murder after 23-year-old Keonna Graham was found this past Monday in a hotel room. Graham was a correctional officer at a Burgaw, NC prison. Before that, the woman reportedly worked at a rehabilitation center assisting mentally disabled people.
Hill, who won $10 million from an Ultimate Millions scratch-off ticket in 2017, was arrested in Southport, NC, this past Tuesday. He is currently being held without bond at a Brunswick County jail after making a court appearance.
