Recently, Nick Cannon faced significant backlash after anti-semitic comments made while on a podcast. As a result, he was dropped by ViacomCBS and ultimately ended up apologizing for his remarks. Now, news surfaced, noting that UK rapper Wiley has been dropped by his management after tweeting anti-semitic comments.
The rapper’s Twitter account has been temporarily locked, but before that, he said, “I don't care about Hitler, I care about black people.” Along with that, he compared Jewish folks to the Ku Klux Klan, saying, “red necks are the KKK, and Jewish people are the law.. work that out.”
Since then, Wiley’s former management addressed why they dropped the rapper, saying, “Following Wiley's antisemitic tweets today, we at @A_ListMGMT have cut all ties with him. There is no place in society for antisemitism." Reports also noted that Metropolitan Police officers in Tower Hamlets are currently looking into the rapper’s tweets. The police issued a statement saying, “We have received a number of reports relating to alleged anti-Semitic tweets posted on social media. The Met takes all reports of anti-Semitism extremely seriously. The relevant material is being assessed."
