During a recent Instagram Live session, Lupe Fiasco was asked if he "knew FBG Duck," which led him to question why someone was asking about the Chicago rapper in the past tense. After doing a quick internet search, Lupe realized that FBG Duck was recently murdered, and the news threw him for a loop.
While Lupe says they never met, he spoke about Duck being one of the best Drill rappers in Chicago. He also spoke about how crazy it is for someone to be shot in broad daylight on Oak Street, which Lupe explained is like someone getting killed on Fifth Avenue in New York, or Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills.
Lupe then closed out the video by speaking about the dangers of Drill music dissing rival gang sets, and he predicted that there will be retaliation killings in light of FBG Duck's death. You can hear his full statement above.
