Dave Chappelle's recent Dave Chappelle & Friends: An Intimate Socially Distanced Affair shows have featured guests, such as David Letterman, Jon Stewart, Tiffany Haddish, Common, Erykah Badu, Michael Che, Jon Hamm, Talib Kweli, and Questlove. However, the comedian included his most controversial guest last when Louis C.K. was announced as the surprise guest at a recent stop in Yellow Springs, Ohio.
Louis C.K. was one of the more notable stories in the Me Too movement. In 2017, the comedian faced multiple sexual misconduct allegations and later admitted to masturbating in front of various women. Since then, Louis C.K. has been working to get his career back on track.
It's no surprise that Chappelle has decided to feature him. Dave's admitted that the two are longtime friends and Dave even came to Louis' defense in his Stick & Stones comedy special on Netflix.
While details of C.K.'s set have not been mentioned, the other comedians in the show's lineup included Michelle Wolf, Mo Amer, and DJ Trauma.
