John Salley gave his thoughts on Craig Hodges' story about Jordan telling him that Clyde Drexler was just as good as him but couldn't play "the game." Salley agreed with Hodges and called Drexler "the man" before referencing Drexler's performance at the 1984 Olympic trials.

Salley added that Clyde Drexler couldn't play "the game" because he played for Portland, which was "out of the wheelhouse of the NBA changing its image," while Michael Jordan played in a big market city. He added that as Jordan surged in popularity and was being regarded as the greatest ever, MJ downplayed the notion.

According to the four-time NBA champion, Michael Jordan doesn't believe he's the greatest basketball player ever. When asked who Jordan would call the greatest, Salley said it would be Oscar Robertson before highlighting previous greats such as Jerry West and Elgin Baylor.
