Nas recently sat down with Hot 97, where he touched on his new album, King's Disease, reuniting The Firm on the album, and Salaam Remi having a stash of verses that Nas forgot about.
Nas also spoke about his relationship with 2pac, and he revealed that 2Pac thought that Nas was dissing him on "The Message" with the line, "Fake thug, no love, you get the slug." Nas said he was surprised that 2Pac thought that, and he revealed that he had a conversation with 2Pac about their tension, which 2Pac told Nas shouldn't be going on. Nas also revealed that he was supposed to meet up with 2Pac in Vegas, but the late rapper had been shot and was in the hospital.
