Nas recently made an appearance on ‘The Breakfast Club’ to speak about his new album produced entirely by Hit-Boy, and also touched on a variety of other topics including his Kanye West-produced album. During the interview, Charlamagne asked Nas why Jay-Z always drops projects around the same time he does.
Charlamagne pointed out memes he saw on the subject and even referenced a 50 Cent video where the rapper spoke about it. Nas responded by saying, “I think maybe there’s an energy that we both have where we do work around the same time.” From there, Envy pointed out the release dates between the two rappers. Nas simply said all those dates are “a hell of a coincidence,” then said Jay would know better than he would. Watch above.
