Kanye West is being sued for allegedly stealing the technology used in his Sunday Service performances. MyChannel, Inc., a black-owned media company specializing in video and e-commerce technology, alleges that West stole their technology and reneged on a $10 million investment.
MyChannel claims that they started working with West in 2018 to boost Yeezy Brand's revenue. According to the lawsuit, the company worked for him around the clock for six months, relocated twice, and invested $7 million of its own money into the Yeezy project, including 10,000 man-hours.
The company said Kanye West ended their working relationship and took confidential technology for his Sunday Service. MyChannel, Inc. is reportedly seeking $20 million in damages.
