Since his recent King's Disease album was announced, Nas has given a series of promotional interviews offering various stories throughout his career. Nas has spoken on his relationship with 2Pac, his NASIR album with Kanye West, and answered why he and Jay-Z have shared multiple release dates for projects.

One question that fans have been wanting a confirmed answer to is why Nas and The Notorious B.I.G. never released a record together. According to the Queensbridge MC, a collaboration never reached the public because he got too high to finish a song they were working on.

"I got too high," said Nas during his Breakfast Club interview. "I was in the studio and Big was rolling up some of that Chocolate from Brooklyn and he didn’t warn me. I was zonked out, yo. There’s pictures of that session out there. I think, yeah, we were supposed to do a couple of songs. I was going to remix some stuff for Ready To Die. One of them I did was ‘Gimme The Loot.'"

When asked why he didn't return the next day to finish the songs, he claimed he was "still high" and stayed far from the city at the time.

"Things happened, I lived far out in Manhattan and at the time, coming to the city was like a mission," Nas said. "It was hard to get me to move, man."

King's Disease was released last week and is projected to sell 35,000 - 40,000 units.
