Part 3: Jemele Hill on Why Black Americans Don't Move Back to Africa
Part 1: Jemele Hill: Jacob Blake's Paralyzed and People are Still Debating if it's Justified

--------

Jemele Hill continued to address the way African Americans are policed in America. She explained the slave catcher mentality bleeding into the policing system and how the police presence is heavier in Black neighborhoods. Hill added that policing in Black and Brown communities to keep people contained rather than public safety and that interactions are deadlier and more physical.

Hill stated that she hasn't had a negative interaction with the police but has friends who were racially profiled as young as 11-years-old. She also pointed out that Kyle Rittenhouse and the Charlottesville rally show that racism will not simply die off with the younger generation. The clip concludes with Hill explaining technology's impact on America's race issue and rejecting the idea that Blacks aren't patriotic.
