Reports surfaced noting that rapper KSOO and his father were arrested after the father drove the rapper to commit a drive-by shooting that killed rapper Lilbuck.

The incident reportedly took place on January 15, 2020, and an off-duty cop reportedly saw the shooting of Lilbuck take place, which led them to go after the suspects in a car chase. The rapper and his father ended up crashing and fled on foot. Police noted the rapper and his 49-year-old father, Abdul Robinson, committed a home invasion in order to change their clothes to hide their identity from the police.

The 21-year-old rapper and his father were arrested on September 10, and KSOO was charged with second-degree murder for his alleged part. Abdul Robinson was arrested charged with being an accessory after the fact, which was noted to be a capital felony.
