In this clip, Chaka Khan starts out by revealing her full name, which was given to her in Africa. She then detailed how she gave Kanye permission to use her song "Through the Fire" on his breakout single "Through the Wire." Chaka revealed that her son was friends with Kanye at the time, and he told Chaka that Kanye listened to her song a lot while he was in the hospital recovering from a car accident that led to his jaw being wired shut. Chaka explained that she was touched by the story, and she thought that he couldn't mess up the chorus, but Chaka felt that the speeding up of her voice on Kanye's song is an insult.
