Leading up to the highly-anticipated Game 5 of the NBA Finals on Friday night, which could see LeBron and the Lakers walk away champions against the Heat, Chris Bosh looked back on LeBron's time in Miami.
When asked how LeBron's game is different in L.A. versus Miami, Bosh told Complex that James is "more patient," and he added that he's never seen LeBron let a player take the lead like he does with Anthony Davis. When asked if Davis is the best teammate LeBron has ever had, Bosh wasn't in total agreement.
He stated, "Do they complement each other? Hell yeah, they do. Has LeBron always had that No. 2 guy? Every time he’s won, yeah he has. But as far as ranking teammates, it’s tough to rank." However, Chris believes Dwyane Wade was the best teammate for LeBron, as he explained, "Dwyane said, LeBron, you need to be the guy, you’re the No. 1 option, and I’ll figure everything out, you just go ahead and be comfortable being who you are. On top of that, just the effect they had on the game, I’ve never seen anybody do what they did. The steals. The lobs. The dunks. You could play highlights of those two forever. That stuff is classic."
Toward the end of the interview, Bosh reacted to people putting an asterisk by this year's champion team, and he believes that it's "one of the hardest championships to win in history." He then added that "An NBA championship is an NBA championship."
