Weeks before his showdown with Mike Tyson, Buster Douglas' mother passed away from a stroke. During the clip, Douglas described how close he and his mother's relationship was. He also explained that his mother had been sick for an extended period of time but her conditioned worsened while he was training for the biggest fight of his life. After his mother's passing, Douglas broke down at the end of multiple training sessions and his trainer even asked if he wanted to postpone the fight. Douglas stated that he chose to move forward with the fight because he believed that's what his mother would have wanted.
