Weeks ahead of the presidential election, Kanye West debuted his presidential campaign ad on Twitter. Featuring Kanye at a podium with a black and white American flag behind, the rapper and designer asks about "America's destiny" before sending a message about faith, religion, and prayer.
"We, as a people, will revive our nation's commitment to faith to what our constitution calls, 'free exercise of religion,' including, of course, prayer," he said in the ad. "Through prayer, faith can be restored. We, as a people, are called to a greater purpose than ourselves. We are not only a beacon to the world but we should be servants to each other."
The ad features old photos of himself as he describes the importance of family.
"We will build a stronger country by building stronger families," Kanye added. "Families are the building blocks of society. By turning to faith, we will be the kind of nation, the kind of people, God intends us to be."
Kanye West most recently urged California voters to write him in as a presidential candidate as he's listed as a vice-presidential candidate on the ballot.
