A Los Angeles County judge ordered Tory Lanez to stay 100 yards away from Megan Thee Stallion and refrain from contacting her during Tuesday's court hearing. Lanez appeared by phone during the hearing, which was supposed to be his arraignment but his lawyer successfully requested a continuance so the rapper didn't have to enter a plea.
Tory Lanez's bail was set at $190,000, which he'll be posting through a bondsman who was present at the hearing. The judge also said he must surrender any guns he owns.
Last week, the L.A. County District Attorney's Office charged Tory Lanez with one count of assault with a semiautomatic firearm and one count of carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle, in addition to being accused of inflicting great bodily injury on Megan Thee Stallion. If convicted, the music artist faces up to 22 years and 8 months in prison.
