Court papers were recently released after it was revealed that Bobby Shmurda was denied parole in September. The papers revealed that the parole board denied Bobby's release due to his "multiple" violations in jail, which include allegedly having a shank, fighting, and drug possession.
Bobby made hi5 case for being released, telling the board that he has been working on his impulse controls while in prison, including his decision-making skills and walking away from potentially bad situations. He also stated that he wanted to work with the youth once he's released and continue his music career.
A spokesperson from the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision told Complex that Shmurda will be "given a hold until the maximum expiration of his sentence on December 11, 2021."
