Update 10/20/2020 12:42pm:

On Monday, news broke that Louisiana rapper JayDaYoungan was arrested on felony charges but details were scarce. It's not being reported that the rapper was arrested in Cobb County, Georgia following a domestic dispute.

The 22-year-old allegedly attacked a woman by punching, pushing, and grabbing her, resulting in "visible marks and scars" on her arm. According to documents, he and the victim either lived together or formerly lived together. JayDaYoungan was charged with misdemeanor battery and family violence.

Even though he posted a $1,320 bond for the battery and family violence charge, the rapper was held due to a warrant in Houston from another domestic abuse charge in February. In that incident, JayDaYoungan was accused of hitting a pregnant woman and was also booked for possession of a controlled substance.

The warrant against JayDaYoungan in Cobb County was dismissed, but he's still being held at the Cobb County Adult Detention Center as the fugitive warrant from Texas states that officials in Houston are looking to extradite JayDaYoungan to Harris County, Texas.
