You can count on odd situations to pop up in Florida, especially since restrictions for coronavirus have been lifted. Recently, a Florida man was arrested for reportedly snatching a five dollar bill from a woman, and eating it.
Police in Gainesville, Florida arrested a man named Henry Chambers Jr. after he snatched a five dollar bill from a woman named Kadisha Grant. He snatched the bill out of her hand while it was being handed to her and then walked off into the street. When the woman tried to get her money back, the 60-year-old man allegedly threatened her.
The man then said the woman would die before he gave her money back. From there, he put the bill in his mouth, chewed it up and then swallowed it. Following the incident, Chambers was arrested and booked for felony robbery by sudden snatching. He was booked in the Alachua County Jail.
