The coronavirus pandemic has impacted the lives of millions globally. As tens of millions of cases have been reported worldwide, one of the major concerns of the virus is when a vaccine will be developed and ready for widespread use. While many await the availability of a vaccine, Keri Hilson has already stated that she will not be getting vaccinated.
Dr. Anthony Fauci, the United States' top infectious disease expert, recently said that he believes experts will know within the next few months if a vaccine is available and safe.
"We will know whether a vaccine is safe and effective by the end of November, the beginning of December," Dr. Fauci said on Sunday. "The amount of doses that will be available in December will not certainly be enough to vaccinate everybody."
Fauci added that health care workers and high-risk individuals would receive the vaccine first, while the rest of the population would likely be able to get the vaccine later in 2021. Despite Fauci's optimism on a vaccine's availability, Keri Hilson spoke out against getting a vaccine in the comments section of a Baller Alert post on Dr. Fauci's recent statements.
"Don't yall take that vaccine. Or any other vaccine," the singer wrote on Instagram.
This isn't the first time Keri Hilson has made questionable comments related to the coronavirus. Earlier in the pandemic, Hilson stated that 5G was contributing to the coronavirus.
