Despite being the most nominated artist at the 2020 BET Hip Hop Awards, DaBaby failed to win a single award at the annual show. DaBaby's nominations included, "Hip Hop Album of the Year (KIRK)," "Song of the Year (BOP)," "Hip Hop Artist of the Year," "Lyricist of the Year," and "Best Hip Hop Video."
Many viewers claimed that the rapper was robbed, but DaBaby wasn't a sore loser. The Carolina artist commented on an Instagram post highlighting the snub and congratulated the winners rather than voice any frustrations.
"Ion think Baby trippin. @bet love Baby, congrats to the winners. #WellDeserved," DaBaby wrote.
The big winner at the award show was Megan Thee Stallion, who took home three awards: "Best Collaboration," "Hustler of the Year," and "Hip Hop Artist of the Year."
