In the latest clip, Mob James explained the circumstances that caused him to raise his four-year-old grandson on his own. After a standoff with police while on probation for a robbery, James' daughter was sentenced to four years. Because the grandson's father is serving an 18-year sentence for attempted murder and kidnapping, Child Protective services wanted to take Mob James' grandson. However, James stepped in and got his sister involved after CPS wouldn't let him care for the child because of his criminal past.
Mob James recalled raising his daughter for over seven years after the mother was locked up for eight years. After giving the mother one year to get back on her feet, she was remarried and involved in the church. However, James claimed his daughter started making questionable life choices after moving back in with the mother. James stated that he hasn't sent his daughter anything since she's been locked up, but will have an apartment and car ready for her once she's released, and will have the same one-year grace period that James gave to her mother.
