On Thursday (November 5), DaBaby shared a message on Twitter amid the news of his brother Glen's recent suicide. He wrote, "Death don’t phase me at all, watching my family suffer does."
DaBaby then continued, "GOD watch over my family, my mama, my nieces & nephew & they mama, my brother. Don’t worry bout me take whatever you was do for me and pour it into them. & keep me cool, cuz God you know! The world don’t Amen."
DaBaby previously told fans to check on those they love in light of the news of Glen's death, and he shared lyrics from his song "Intro" on his Instagram story, which includes the lyrics: "My brother be thinkin' that we don't/ love him and let him struggle like/ we ain't family/ Like I won't give up all I got to see you happy, n****. would've gave up all I had to see you happy."

DaBaby took to Instagram to speak for the first time on his brother Glen Johnson's recent death, which was reportedly by suicide.
After adding "LONG LIVE MY BROTHER" to his Instagram bio, DaBaby posted lyrics from his song "Intro" that touched on his brother's struggles. He wrote, "My brother be thinkin' that we don't love him and let him struggle like we ain't family. Like I won't give up all I got to see you, n****."

DaBaby's older brother reportedly died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound in Charlotte on Tuesday.
DaBaby's brother, Glen Johnson, posted a video of himself inside of a car with a gun earlier in the day. During the video, Johnson was seen crying and claiming that he'd been wronged in the past. Sources say that around 4 P.M. local time, Johnson shot himself in the head.
Johnson is survived by three daughters and a son. DaBaby has not issued a statement on his brother's death. Stay tuned as the story develops.
