Sheck Wes announced on Instagram that he's officially eligible to be drafted by an NBA franchise. While the rapper skyrocketed to stardom after his hit single named after NBA center Mo Bamba, Wes pursued a basketball career before his achieving success as a rapper.

Reflecting on his journey to the NBA Draft, Sheck Wes shared images of his workouts and thanked everyone who was involved in getting him to this point.

Damn...it's really real, The 2020 NBA DRAFT, all my life I always wanted to follow my passion for music and basketball," Sheck Wes wrote in his caption. "Playing basketball and going to play pro in the @nba is something that I always strived for. Tonight that dream comes true! I want to thank the @nba for their hard work with growing the game and every team that gave me an opportunity to work out and talk with them. Sheck Wes, real name Khadimou Rassoul Cheikh Fall, stands 6'2" tall with a 7'0" reach. The 2020 NBA Draft will air tonight (November 18) at 8 p.m. E.T.
