Part #2: Poundside Pop on Brother & Best Friend Zoo Getting Killed, Growing Up w/ AR-Ab

--------

Poundside Pop joined VladTV for his first interview on the platform. In the first clip, he described his upbringing in North Philadelphia and explained that his stage name comes from his neighborhood's nickname. Pop stated that he was raised by his mother and his father wasn't involved in raising him. While he has siblings from both parents, he was raised as the only boy in the house with his mom and three sisters.

The rapper revealed that his mother was in and out of jail while he was growing up, so he and his siblings would stay with other relatives while she was incarcerated. He added that his sister also stepped up and helped raise him during those times. Poundside Pop claimed he started getting involved with the streets by the time he was in kindergarten. When asked about his clean criminal record, he stated that being in the streets at such a young age allowed him to see what mistakes to avoid. The clip concluded with Pop talking about his friend taking a gun charge for him.
