TMZ recently caught up with Lil Yachty to get his thoughts on Trevor Wilkinson, a 17-year-old student at Clyde High School in West Texas, who was punished for wearing nail polish in school.
Yachty, who is fond of wearing nail polish, told TMZ, "Why do we still have barriers? If somebody wants to express themselves and it's not harming anyone or bringing anybody down they should be allowed to do so. I don't really see the purpose."
Lil Yachty then revealed that he's working on putting out a line of his own nail polish, stating, "I've been in development working on my own nail paint, it's called Cree." Check out more of what he had to say above.
