After meeting G-Unit for the first time, Young Buck said he and Juvenile headed to Los Angeles to meet with Suge Knight to work out a deal where Juve and UTP would be signed to Death Row. Buck said he had nothing bad to say about Suge as the Death Row co-founder took a liking to him and paid for all of UTP's expenses during their two-week stay in LA. After regularly working out of Death Row's studios, the deal fell through after Juvenile disappeared and left the UTP crew stranded. Buck stated that once Suge learned that Juvenile disappeared, the whole crew was kicked out of the hotel and everyone scrambled to try and figure out a way home.
