Elizabeth Koch from Knoxville, Tennessee was one of the Trump supporters who stormed the Capitol on Wednesday.
As she was leaving the Capitol, the 31-year-old was approached by Yahoo News' White House correspondent Hunter Walker. When Walker approached her to ask what happened, she claimed she was maced while holding back tears.
During the interview, she's seen holding a towel and rubbing her eyes. However, viewers noticed an object resembling the look and color of an onion inside of the towel. While some believe the onion was used to make her cry and appear like a victim, others believe the onion is proof that the insurrection at the Capitol building was premeditated.
Onions are said to relieve the burning sensation from tear gas and pepper spray, so viewers of the clip questioned why Koch would have an onion if she didn't expect violence and chaos to break out. As previously reported, four people died as a result of the attack on the U.S. Capitol.
During the viral interview, Koch was asked why she was maced to which she replied, "We're storming the Capitol, it's a revolution!"
