The rise COVID-19 cases have risen at an alarming rate in California, with LA County reportedly being “ground zero” for COVID-19 after passing 10,000 deaths from the virus. The urge for people to social distance and stay home to curb the spread of the virus has been pushed, and now one man has been arrested for taking that gesture to the extreme.

A 38-year-old man named James Howard was arrested on December 30 after the cops in Glendale got reports of a “shirtless male jogger who was spitting on random people outdoors.” The age of the victims who were spit on range from 13 to 78 years old, and Howard reportedly used racial slurs in some of the assaults according to police.

Howard was arrested and charged with elder abuse, battery, and a hate crime.
