According to reports, the card company Hallmark has called out two GOP senators for their roles in challenging the presidential election results and further stoking the flames of illegitimacy. Hallmark's political action committee, HALLPAC, reportedly donated $7,000 and $5,000 to Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) and Roger Marshall (R-Kan.), respectively.
“Hallmark believes the peaceful transition of power is part of the bedrock of our democratic system, and we abhor violence of any kind,” said Hallmark spokeswoman JiaoJiao Shen. “The recent actions of Senators Josh Hawley and Roger Marshall do not reflect our company’s values. As a result, HALLPAC requested Sens. Hawley and Marshall to return all HALLPAC campaign contributions.”
Hawley and Marshall have been two of the loudest objectors against the certification of Arizona's and Pennsylvania's Electoral College results. Many Congress members are calling for all House Representatives and Senators who supported obstructing the certification process and the rioters last Wednesday, as Hawley and Marshall did, to be expelled from their respective chambers.
