Reports surfaced that a man named Jaddier Sanchez was arrested in Virginia after he reportedly kidnapped and robbed a family in Pembroke Pines, Florida, and fled with the family’s daughter against her will.

The family noted that Sanchez kidnapped them at gunpoint outside of their home around 12:30 am while they were returning home. The 37-year-old suspect then forced them into a pick-up truck and drove them to numerous banks to take out money from ATMs.

From there, the suspect drove to Palm Beach County, leaving the parents on the side of the road and fleeing with their 18-year-old daughter in the stolen truck, according to police. Pembroke Pines police noted that Sanchez and the victim—Nicole Martinez, were found by Virginia State Police in Alexandria, VA in the stolen pick-up truck. As of now, Sanchez is expected to be extradited to South Florida to face charges for the kidnapping and robbery.
