Joe Exotic expressed his disappointment in being left off of Donald Trump's list of pardons, claiming his innocence and sexual orientation is the reason he remains in prison.

"I was too innocent and too GAY to deserve a Pardon from Trump," the Tiger King star tweeted. "I only mattered to Don Jr. when he needed to make a comment about me to boost his social media post. Boy were we all stupid to believe he actually stood for Equal Justice? His corrupt friends all come first."

Prior to Trump pardoning numerous inmates, Joe's legal team was confident their client would make the cut after they flew to D.C. for an alleged "high-level" meeting and even prepared a stretch monster truck to pick the disgraced former zoo owner up from prison.

Unfortunately, Joe was not included when Trump pardoned 73 people and commuted the sentences of 70 others. His legal team expressed their disappointment but said they will continue to fight for their client's freedom.

Joe Exotic is currently serving 22 years in prison for two counts of hiring someone to murder Carole Baskin, and eight counts of violating the Lacey Act.
