Trump’s last few months in the White House as president ended in what many consider to be a nightmare, as he ended up facing impeachment for a second time during his term, and also scrutiny for the U.S Capitol riots, which resulted in the deaths of numerous people. Now, Trump has reportedly threatened to create a “MAGA Party” to go after Republicans who voted to impeach the disgraced president.

Trump reportedly spoke to his advisers this weekend about creating a third party that could possibly be called the Patriot Party or the MAGA Party in reference to his campaign slogan. Trump’s possible “MAGA Party” would give him the leverage to stop republican senators from voting to convict him during his upcoming second impeachment trial. It was noted by Trump advisers that Trump reportedly has $70 million in campaign funds to back opposition against primary candidates.

News of this comes after Trump was blamed for inciting the U.S. Capitol riots by Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell. Stay tuned for more updates.
