Tee Grizzley's younger brother, Baby Grizzley, has been indicted on a federal gun charge only months after being released from prison.
Baby Grizzley, real name Marcellus Wallace, was charged as a result of an incident on December 8th, in which Wallace and a second man were pulled over by police. According to law enforcement, cops found an open alcohol container, marijuana, and two .45-caliber firearms in the vehicle.
Wallace and Nolan Dasgupta-Francis, aka "Nolo," were charged with being felons in possession of a firearm. Wallace pleaded guilty to having open intoxicants and was scheduled to have a parole board hearing on January 13th, but it was pushed back due to pending criminal charges.
The 23-year-old's charges come only months after his October release from state prison after serving five years for robbery. Upon his release, Wallace signed a record deal with 300 Entertainment and recently released a new song with Tee Grizzley titled, "Gave That Back." Dasgupta-Francis was previously convicted of armed robbery in 2017.
Tee Grizzley expressed his thoughts on the legal matter in an Instagram post and wrote that he was "crushed" by the news.
"Free Bro," Tee Grizzley wrote. "This S*** just crushed me but ima hold this s*** down like I been doing my boy I got us."
Baby Grizzley is currently being held at the Charles Egeler Reception and Guidance Center in Jackson. He and Dasgupta-Francis are facing up to 10 years in federal prison.
