Rod Wave has been gaining traction with his music but also made the news when video surfaced of the rapper falling through a stage during a performance. The rapper was set to perform at a show and walked on to a stage that appeared to be hollow, with a large entourage of people. When he got to the middle of the stage, the rapper seemingly fell through. The rapper addressed that situation has moved on since then. Now, Rod Wave has taken to IG to address another topic: his record label.
On his IG story, the rapper voiced his frustration on the situation with his label, giving small details. Rod Wave said, “P***y a** label playing wit a n**** shit I ain't dropping s**t f**k ya pay me.” He then went on to tell people that were asking about his album, “Y'all wanna album ask @alamorecords." There is currently no word on when Rod Wave’s album is dropping, but the rapper made it clear he isn’t moving until he gets paid. Stay tuned for more updates.
