In this clip, Kid from Kid 'n Play opened up about starting a label with Steve Stoute, which he admits ultimately failed. Kid explained that he wanted the label to be like Def Jam, where Kid was Russell Simmons and Steve was like Lyor Cohen. Kid admitted that he wanted to be nice and generous to his artists out of the gate instead of making them work for their earnings, which he now sees was a misstep with the label.
