However, a senator named Amanda Chase chimed in with her thoughts, claiming that making weed legal in Virginia will only lead to more marijuana overdoses.
In response to the tweet ran by journalist Brandon Jarvis of the Virginia Scope, Chase said “Del. McGuire is right. We have a drug problem in Virginia, and legalizing marijuana will only lead to more marijuana overdoses and deaths. Democrats want more marijuana deaths.
