Larsa Pippen made a recent appearance on Hollywood Unlocked, where she spoke on her strained friendship with the Kardashians, divorcing Scottie Pippen, and her dating life.
While speaking on the latter, Larsa was asked about her relationship with Future. She claimed the public was led to believe the relationship was more than it was before calling the rapper delusional for subliminally mentioning her in a song.
"That was stupid of him because it was not that, like he was delusional, it was not that," she responded. "It was never that, it was like I was really sad, I was in a point in my life where I was really sad and I was dealing with like, 'Do I move on? Do I not? Are my kids gonna be ok?' And it was like a lot of guilt I felt and he was the guy that was there to see me go through it and he was the guy I would talk to when I was dealing with things. He gave me confidence when I was in a dark place. He served a purpose. Did I want to spend the rest of my life with him? Don't think so, but he served a purpose."
Larsa continued by accusing Future of riding the wave of public attention that was given to their rumored affair. She further said she never "realized there's a lot of guys that will date you for clout until I moved to LA."
Rumors of Future and Larsa Pippen's affair hit a high point in 2017, when Future seemingly took a shot at Scottie Pippen on "Rent Money," where he raps, "I make the blogs with ya b**** cause I'm ruthless/I make the blogs with ya b**** cause I'm ruthless/Yah, I get cash money like I'm Mack Maine/I just put a rapper b**** on game/I be smokin' rapper weed with my gang/I just slam dunked ya b**** hall of fame."
Throughout the rest of the clip, Larsa described the difficulty in adjusting to her newfound fame. She explained that she was "grandfathered" into celebrity by marrying an NBA hall of famer and has found it difficult to be friendly without being accused of dating whoever she's photographed with.
