Reality star Moniece Slaughter announced on Instagram that she will no longer speak about Dr. Dre following alleged threats she received for commenting on his rumored relationship with Apryl Jones.

Slaughter previously accused the legendary producer of sending someone from his camp to deliver threatening phone calls to her. She spoke out against Dr. Dre and warned that she would retaliate by exposing the phone calls.

However, she later issued a lengthy statement that revealed that she would no longer address the situation. Her statement read:

"As a woman, in a time where we're told we should be valued, exalted, and protected, I've been conflicted as to how I was going to proceed, or address last night's chain of events. Torn between allowing men to intimidate or bully me into being silent, or to speak up for myself and stand firm in my position. Torn between acquiescing to my friend's and family’s pleas to not speak up or defend myself, or to ignore them as well, and still stand firm in my position.

Upon waking up today I was told that my life, along with my son's life, and my family's lives were in danger. That I was dealing with a very powerful man, and that I needed to be quiet, to disappear from social media, and even think about taking a vacation to 'clear my mind.' For no reason other than the safety of my loved one, moving forward, I will not be speaking out publicly about all that has transpired. I will not be accepting any media or interview requests or inquiries. I will continue to live my life as I do on a day to day basis. I will continue to care for my son. I will continue to sing and make music. I will continue to be happy. I will continue to do any and all things that contribute to my happiness and success."

Moniece Slaughter claims Dr. Dre threatened her after she revealed the producer had been dating Apryl Jones for "a while."

During an Instagram Live session with media host Kendra G, the Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood member spoke on the pair's rumored romance and claimed that the relationship wasn't new. She also expressed her shock "that someone as established and refined as Dre would almost wife" Jones, who previously dated her ex, Lil Fizz.

"To the person that asked me if Apryl and Dre are together, yes they are and it's been a while that they've been together...it's not new,” Slaughter said. "I've known for a while. I was shocked just because of her public announcement that she's polyamorous and that she has been with this one, this one, this one, this one, this one, that one, that one, that one, and she was on the internet patting her p***. So I was shocked that someone as established and refined as Dre would almost wife her."

Slaughter added, "Apryl is beautiful, her body's insane, she's pseudo-semi-kind-of talented, she's a good mom, and what I know about the way she treats her loved ones is she's all in. So I know great qualities in her."

Dr. Dre seemed to take exception to Slaughter's comments and allegedly threatened her. According to the reality star, someone contacted her on behalf of the producer. Slaughter added that she recorded the conversation and plans to sound off on the incident during an upcoming interview with Hollywood Unlocked's Jason Lee.

"I don't take kindly to threats," a tearful Slaughter said. "I'm trying to save it for the interview tomorrow but I don't know if I can hold it...How dare you send a n**** to bang my mother******* line and threaten me? I don't care who you think you are, I don't care who the world has told you you are. I don't know you and you don't know me and I didn't say anything negative about you, sir! And it wasn't negative. So don't you send another mother****** to this phone of mine to make one more f****** threat. Yeah, Dr. Dre. And I recorded it. Wrong f****** b****! Wrong move, mother******! Suck my d***, you're done! I f****** recorded both conversations, you're f***** up the a**! You thought that aneurysm f***** you up, I'm the aneurysm b****!"

Slaughter continued by explaining that she commented on Dre and Jones' relationship because she was asked about and was reiterating what had already been reported about the couple dating back to December 2020. She claimed she's being singled out simply because of her public image. Slaughter also said the alleged threats confirm that Dr. Dre is a "woman beater" in her eyes.

"I did not want to believe Dre was a woman beater, but after the couple of phone calls that I literally just had, he's a woman beater for sure," Slaughter added.

Moniece Slaughter is expected to speak more on the alleged incident during an appearance on "Gagging with Jason Lee" Tuesday evening.
