Video footage of an assault that took place during a music video shoot for DaBaby has been released after the rapper was accused of assaulting the rental homeowner.
Gary Pagar is suing DaBaby for $117,000, claiming the rapper didn't pay the full leasing price, left the house with thousands of dollars in damages, and destroyed a security camera that was installed in the home.
The 64-year-old said he was assaulted after confronting DaBaby over the terms of their rental agreement. According to court documents, he rented the home to the music artist for the purposes of "a private vacation" with nine friends for an agreed-upon fee of $43,706. Pagar says DaBaby violated the terms by shooting a music video with about 40 people.
After confronting the rapper, Pagar said he was thrown to the ground by an associate of the rapper. The video footage captures Pagar being knocked to the ground as DaBaby, seen near a convertible Ferrari, and dozens of others watch the altercation occur. Pagar also accused the rapper of taunting, threatening, and punching him when the cameras weren't rolling.

DaBaby is being sued by a rental home-owner who says the rapper punched his tooth out.
Gary Pagar filed a lawsuit against the rapper on Monday, accusing DaBaby of assaulting him at his home in Runyon Canyon, Calif. He said DaBaby punched him in the mouth after he attempted to stop DaBaby's music video shoot at his rental property because it was in violation of the leasing terms.
Pagar claimed DaBaby had 40 people at the resident after initially agreeing to only have 12 people present due to COVID-19 regulations. In addition, the legal filing allegedly stated that commercial use of the property was prohibited.
According to the lawsuit, Pagar was knocked to the ground by an unknown person when he tried shutting down the music video. Afterward, DaBaby exited his vehicle and chased Pagar back into the home, and advised him against calling the police before assaulting him.
The lawsuit also accuses DaBaby of fleeing the scene with Pagar's phone and "valuable kitchenware" once the police were notified. Pagar added that he was spat on and taunted during the December assault.
Pagar also claimed that the rapper didn't pay the full leasing price, left the house with thousands of dollars in damages, and destroyed a security camera that was installed in the home.
