DJ Akademiks recently revealed during his live stream that NBA YoungBoy left J. Cole waiting at a studio session for eight hours before ultimately deciding not to show up.

"J. Cole waited in the studio for eight hours for YoungBoy to show up," Akademiks said. "YoungBoy didn't show up. Facts. These are facts! Your favorite rapper, n****. J. Cole? He sat in the studio for eight hours for a session with YoungBoy. YoungBoy never showed up."

In fairness to the Baton Rouge rapper, Ak added that YoungBoy was not feeling in the best of moods during that day and warned his team about how he was feeling. Even though YoungBoy's decision to skip the studio session wasn't a personal slight towards J. Cole, he still failed to give the North Carolina rapper a heads up.

"No disrespect to J. Cole, J. Cole's just a rapper," Ak continued. "YoungBoy be going through s***. He's living life, he's going through s***. YoungBoy said, 'Yo, my energy is not fit to be in the studio with that guy.' It wasn't about J. Cole. It was just that he, and personally what he was going through, wasn't fit to be in that environment."
