Love and Hip Hop Atlanta's Momma Dee has spoken openly about her past as a pimp, and a throwback photo shows her holding up a stack of money with her girls.
Momma Dee previously recalled becoming a pimp after an older pimp named "Sir Charles" took her under his wing to show her the ropes. Adopting the name "Lady Dee," she ran a brothel for 10 years before deciding to pursue other options.
In a previous interview with Loop 21, Momma Dee explained, "So I made a name for myself. I was known to be a real working pimp and the women knew they could trust me and depend on their safety. When my girls went out they all wore the same colors every night so people would see, 'Those Momma Dee’s girls, they got white on' or 'Them blue girls belong to her, so watch out because she will go ham, she will jump out one of these cars.'"
