Recently, the 2021 Grammy Awards took place and found many artists like Nas, Kanye West, Megan Thee Stallion, and more walking away with the coveted music award. However, one rapper, in particular, Lil Wayne, shared his thoughts on the award and did not hold any punches.
Via Twitter, Wayne simply said, “F*k the Grammys.” This isn’t the first time the rapper has expressed his distaste for the Grammys, as he delivered words questioning the Grammys’ decision-making process. Wayne said, “As an artist, when I see da Grammys coming up & I’m not involved nor invited; I wonder. Is it me, my musik, or just another technicality? I look around w respect & wonder competitively, am I not worthy?! Then I look around & see 5 Grammys looking bak at me & I go to the studio." Take a look above.
