Previously, Kel Mitchell’s ex-wife Tyisha Hampton took to social media to claim that Mitchell owes her $1.2 million in tax debt, spousal support, and unpaid child support. She alleged that Mitchell’s actually got her put in jail, and said that Mitchell hasn’t seen their two children in a decade. Now, Mitchell has taken to social media to respond to the claims.

Mitchell posted a photo of the hat emoji, saying the the situation is cap and referred to Cardi B lyrics saying “They do anything for clout (clout).” From there, he posted the caption: “Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord, but those who act faithfully are his delight. Kel Mitchell's ex-wife blasted the actor in a series of social media posts alleging that the actor owes her $1.2 million in unpaid child support, spousal support, and tax debt.

Tyisha Hampton claimed Kel made $630,000 last year and bought an $800,000 home, while she was left homeless after he sold their home in their divorce. She also accused her ex-husband of going a decade without seeing their two children despite promoting himself as a child-friendly pastor.

"#payyourexkel I'm no longer going to be a victim," Hampton wrote. "I'm collecting everything I'm owed! If you are a fan of his, let him know #payyourex! You can't be a man of God and not take care of your past responsibilities! You cannot continue being a hypocrite!"

In the same caption, Hampton claimed that she was put in jail over Kel's tax debt.

"Part 2 will explain how I went to jail for his IRS TAX Debt!" she added. "Yep, I'm spilling it all, until I get my money!!!! #payyourexkel #deadbeatdad #deadbeatcelebrity like and share! Let's let him know you can't do this to your kids and your ex!!! Make him accountable!!! #payyourexkel."

In a second post, Hampton shared some legal paperwork citing her ex-husband as the petitioner and her as the respondent. She also defended her approach to getting Kel's attention and what's allegedly owed to her.

"Let me say this," she continued. "I will never listen to other people. I don't care about anyone's opinion of me, or of what/how I'm doing anything. Everyone has opinions about other people. I used to listen to these opinions -- I was a good Christian girl, I was an awesome wife, I've been a student, a mother, a teacher, a friend, an inmate, a felon, a victim… but now I'm just being me, and living my unapologetic truth in the exact way I want to portray my life! I guess I'll keep doing my thang until Kel decides to do something! Thank you for your support of my journey! #payyourexkel #payyourex #deadbeatdad."

Kel Mitchell and Tyisha Hampton were married from 1999-2005 and share two adult children. Kel is currently married to singer Asia Lee and has two children with his current wife.
