Chet Hanks’ social media use always seems to stir up a lot of controversy, as Hanks’ Jamaican accent that he broke out during the Golden Globes’ red carpet previously went viral. The son of actor Tom Hanks addressed the matter, saying the whole clip was blown out of proportion. Now, Hanks is back with another video, this time asking if Summer 2021 is going to be a “White Boy Summer.”

The term he put on his video is a play on Megan Thee Stallion’s popular “Hot Girl Summer” phrase, and Hanks explained what he meant in the video posted to Instagram. Hanks said “..this summer, it's about to be a White Boy Summer. You know, take it how you want. I'm not talking about Trump, NASCAR type white, you know.” He continued on saying “I'm talking about you know, me, you know, Jon B, Jack Harlow type White Boy Summer. Let me know if you guys can vibe with that and you know, get ready.” In the caption of his post, Hanks went on to say “Tag a real Vanilla King.” Take a look above.
