The 2016 XXL Freshman list produced some of the biggest stars who are still dominating the rap game, including Lil Uzi Vert, Kodak Black, 21 Savage, Lil Yachty, Anderson .Paak, and G Herbo.
After nearly five years, Lil Yachty believes that 21 Savage had the best cypher of all the artists, writing on Twitter, "I think it’s pretty undeniable 21 had the best verse out of our XXL cypher lol." There was a lot of debate on the subject, with a lot of love being thrown out for Denzel Curry, and others laughing at Kodak questioning, "Who the f*** picked this 'lil sorry ass beat?" during his cypher. 21 Savage has yet to respond to Yachty.
