Saweetie has released a statement following leaked footage of an elevator altercation between herself and ex-boyfriend Quavo.

"This unfortunate incident happened a year ago, while we have reconciled since then and moved past this particular disagreement, there were simply too many other hurdles to overcome in our relationship and we have both since moved on," Saweetie said in a statement. "I kindly ask that everyone respect my privacy during this time."

The surveillance video started with Saweetie swinging on Quavo outside of the elevator until the fight moved inside. After Quavo dodged Saweetie's strikes, a struggle ensued over an orange Call of Duty case before Quavo was seen shoving his ex to the floor and taking control over the case as Saweetie stayed on the ground. The Migos member was seen staring down at her a few times before Saweetie eventually got up and limped off.

The Los Angeles Police Department is reportedly investigating the video and is seeking to speak with both parties to determine what exactly happened in the moments leading up to the physical altercation.
