Florida has remained in the news for the fiction-like reality that’s occurred within the state. Recently, the state made the news after Miami-Dade County lifted their midnight COVID-19 curfew. Now, a Florida man has made the news after being arrested for crashing a motorcycle while a baby was on his lap.

Police in Clearwater, Florida, arrested Dontrell Stanley after the man crashed a motorcycle after he rode through a stop sign. The man reportedly had his 17-month-old stepdaughter on his lap when the crash occurred, according to police.

Because of the crash, the baby was taken to an adjacent children’s hospital, where it was revealed that she was in critical condition. Stanley was charged with the neglect of a child with great bodily harm. The man was also charged with not having a valid driver’s license.
