Update 04/13/2021 1:19pm:
Previously, news surfaced noting that YNW Melly co-defendant YNW Bortlen was released on bond for the murder case the two are involved in. Bortlen’s bail was reportedly $90,000, and he was released in 2020 and placed on house arrest.
However, YNW Bortlen’s pre-trial release was denied after he violated the terms of his release. Documents in the case that surfaced said Bortlen—real name Cortlen Henry, was arrested and booked in Miami on April 8 for violating the terms of his pre-trial release. The terms of Henry’s bail allowed him to leave his house for work, but the YNW affiliate reportedly was tailed to a private residence, as well as the King of Diamonds strip club. Henry also got tracked to spaces like the G5 Gentleman’s Club, as well as Playhouse, which are both in Miami.
His moves to those clubs caused a warrant for his arrest to be issued, along with his bond getting revoked. As a result, an out-of-county affidavit for Failure to Comply was issued for Henry’s arrest, and he was deemed a fugitive in Broward County.
