According to reports, a former Los Angeles County Sheriff and his co-conspirators were sentenced to federal prison on Monday for an armed robbery of a marijuana warehouse and staged it as a raid.
Marc Antrim, 43, reportedly orchestrated the raid that yielded half a ton of marijuana and $600,000 in cash from a downtown Los Angeles warehouse in October 2018. Antrim pleaded guilty in March 2019 to plead guilty to conspiracy to distribute marijuana, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, conspiracy to deprive rights under color of law, deprivation of rights under color of law, and brandishing a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime.
The local CW-affiliate in Los Angeles, KTLA, reported Antrim's co-conspirators,
"Kevin McBride, 45, of Glendora and Eric Rodriguez, 35, of Adelanto —are serving prison terms of six and nine years, respectively. As part of a related case, Matthew James Perez, 44, of Ontario is also serving six months in prison, Daniel Aguilera, 33, of Los Angeles is serving two years and Jay Colby Sanford, 43, of Pomona received five years’ probation."
Another co-conspirator, Christopher Myung Kim, 31, received a 14-year sentence for his role. Kim, a former employee of the warehouse played a key role in Antrim executing the plan.
